The Dingus Dragon is a scaley trickster who delights in using his osychic powers to bedazzle all those he comes in contact with. Have you ever thought you saw something out of the corner of your eye? Did you ever get the feeling that someone was looking over your shoulder? If you've ever turned to look only to find nothing it is quite likely the Dingus Dragon is about and having his fun with you.
Not only a prankster, the Dingus Dragon is also an eternally youthful creature born from a Dingus Egg. Like his relatives, he has been bestowed powers that not only allow him to play and have fun, but also persecute those he finds mentally unfit.
Where the Dingus Duck searches one's heart for truth, the Dingus Dragon probes the mind of those he comes across in his travels. If you are one who uses their knowledge for the greater good of all, it is believed the Dingus Dragon will reward you with some of the great wisdom he has acquired throughout his many travels.
However...
If he should find that you are one who uses their mental capacity to belittle, manipulate, and ensnare other beings and entities of the world, he will make you pay. Those who have been judged in such a way by the dragon recall feeling a tingling sensation before hearing the sound of slipping cardboard seemingly coming from out of their forehead. This is later followed by moments where people, places, and faces that should be familiar to them are not. Moreover, despite efforts made by those to assist the confused individual, the lost memories are never able to be returned.
So, as you go about your day-to-day activities, be mindful of how you use the knowledge that you have acquired, because you never know where and when the Dingus Dragon will show up. And, just like Old Saint Nick, he'll KNOW if you've been naughty or nice.

Indeed! You know, as you often are depicted as a toon squirrel, I could believe a great, super-power would be the ability to magically pull pertinent items from behind your back.
For example, you have an invading force of aliens threating the forest. Stepping forward, you give a serious expression, say a notable quote, and pull a large, acorn-loaded, gattling gun from behind your back! Finally, as they flee, you could drop a witty pun like, "Guess they didn't like my a-salt-ed nuts."

No worries! He's more silly than scary.
Actually, being the clever squirrel that you are, he'd LOVE to play with you. He prides himself on being both witty and sneaky when he pulls off his little tricks on those he encounters. You might actually pose a rare, but welcome, challenge to him.
Then, when you catch him, you can give him a really, big hug. He seldom gets them as his sneakiness only masks his intense shyness. :)

*Poof!* Oh, my! I do believe he has gone invisible.
Don't let his shyness fool you, though. He may be acting all bashful and sneaky now, but, if you were to think some snuggly thoughts, I bet you might just find a certain someone trying to sneak a nuzzle, or two, against your cheek. ;)

Just think warm and true thoughts and, before you know it, you should hear him purr beside your ear.
He's funny that way. He thinks so much that it makes him shy and timid to reach out for direct attention and affection. However, those who welcome him will always be treated to some of the happiest of thoughts, and snuggles, in return for the kindness they think towards him. ;)

Thanks! New experiment I wanted to play with where I write a story in conjunction to a piccie. :) I hope to do more like it in the future to see where the "Further Realms" can go with it.
By the way, I have you to thank for the idea. Remember the shout I wrote your way last week? Well, I thought about how I could be cute while still being creative after I did it and, well, Ta-Da! :)
So, thanks again for helping me come up with yet another great idea! Your comments always seem to have a way to get my mind rolling in a new, and often better, direction. *HUGS*

Not true. After I read your comment, and wrote my shout, I came to the revelation of what would fulfill a need for cuteness while still allowing me to write fun stories. So, in essence, you were the catalyst of this fun, little series. :)
That's the thing I like about being around here with you guys. Inspiration just seems to bubble up from just about anything.

Ehehe, these Dingus card dudes are a good way to scare card user thingy people into moral behavior! Having baby dragons and waddling ducks either bring you good wishes or torment ya would be great for those that do good, but everyone'll likely be on their toes. ;P
Either way, it's still neat that it's inspired ya this much. (: I think ya mentioned a juvenile car deck last time, maybe this dude was even a part of it! (:

Partly. Though, I can't draw well enough to do MAGIC: The Gathering quality characters. Here are two of my favs from that oh-so lovable deck I mentioned.
DRAGON WHELP

I do believe I have one more Dingus up my sleeve. This one will be different from his/her quacky and flappy comrades and will complete my NEW creative goal of writing short stories that include art.

I know what I want to draw. Now it's just a matter of whether I can pull it off, or not. Fortunately, through, I have traded TV time in the late-nite for spending time with my wife while she's on the computer. Since my CC TV is in the computer room, I get to draw while we share words and she takes care of "teacher things."
ARGH! *cush-cush-cush-cush-cush* I can't even begin to go into what happened at that accursed meeting. Put simply, though, I'm not getting my handheld, CC TV until I find a job. Furthermore, I was put in my place for having standards in attaining a new position. *cush-cush-cush-cush-cush*
Ah well. As I noted in "AoP: Negativity," I have moved beyond that loathable meeting and am ready to kick some serious tail in the coming days. Victory shall be mine! Oopa!

Ah! Hehe, it sounds like a good trade off so you can spend more time together, and still get other things done as well. :3 Fun fun!
Eep, sorry about the meeting though... Everyone's got their standards though, whether they're too high or nearly non-existent. :3 You're not the only one in a position like that, but I hope something can work out. With times like this, it's hard to really know what we should be doing, or what's worth doing.. hopefully we won't all be so lost in a year. D:
Woop woop! Another day, another possible victory! (:
