It's nice, the seam down the middle is really noticeable though. Not sure if that was intentional or just something that happened when you mirrored and smoothed. Are you planning on using an image sequence texture for the eyes?

I've got a few ideas on how I'll get the eyes to work. Image sequence texture is one of them, but there's another little option I want to try first. And yeah, the seam is caused by the mirror, but I'll take care of that a bit later.
