Wow, I sort of pictured something like this for a steam PC. Too bad Doc couldn't make in in Back to the Future III.

Considering the "Top of the line" computing system in 1914 was mainly using cams, rods and notched wheels, Doc in "Back to the Future 2" would have a dickens of a time making a computer that would not be any more powerful than a cheap pocket calculator today.

If I could, I'd have one. Who needs speed when you have fire, and brass and twiddly bits?

This system for a steam powered P.C. is kind of redundant. In reality it's nothing more than an electrical generator supplying current to a "standard" Personal Computer. On the other hand it'd be nice to still be on line while everybody else is stuck in the dark.

I love hot chocolate... That is the most interesting death trap I have seen in years. Of course, it does bring a whole new level to Flame Wars.

Tell you what. If you're ever out this way and Jims running his little Steam Launch the "Pugnacious," we'll be sure to whip you up some hot cocoa using the Windemere Kettle. It tastes very "Different" from the stove brewed stuff.

As in regards to the "SPC" being a "Death Trap," it's construction is not too different from similar devices built in the early 1930s. I guess folks had a lot more "Common Sense" back then, and if one got hurt using such devices, it was their own D*** fault for being "Stupid."

This could work, just feed it the junk mail you get by the bushel. Then maybe you can get some use out of that junk mail!

That's one of the reasons "External Combustion" can be practical and fun too.

I hang my junk mail up and use it for target practice for my BB gun.
