Being in the 101st Airbourne on D-Day had to be the scariest shit ever. Your pilot gets flaked, your B-52 is doing down people are bailing, and you have to wait your turn to jump out. You are miles off course, parachuting behind enemy line, and you have to skirt around German patrols to get back to the front.
