Since the election is upon us, and I need to work on my multiple character scenes, etc. I did this as a warm-up.
Voting's a pretty big deal to me. Even if you feel like your voice is too small, and gets drowned out by the others around you, I love that we get the chance to try to help choose. I know that this one has been particularly brutal, but I'm hopeful, that at the end, we'll start remembering that we're still all in it together.
(Also, please keep the amount of soapboxing to a minimum on this piece. It's my gallery, not a political forum! I just want to remind people to vote, if they want!)

I voted last week! I'm in North Carolina, where we get to do that! I'm going to spend tomorrow night watching Dr. Strange instead of glued to the election coverage.
Last presidential election, I voted early, as well, then election night, went to see Wreck-It-Ralph with my GF. We were the only two in the theater, it was amazing.

I've got tomorrow off just so I can show up and vote. (I need to look into early voting next time.)
As for if your vote matters or not, there's something I read on a de-motivational poster once, that I've actually found to be a good motivator.

I voted on the first day Florida allowed early voting. I exercised my franchise - in public! And in front of witnesses!

Awesome art. I voted last week despite knowing it doesn't really matter. Yeah, I'm one of those realist type people. South Park and ERB had it right though. Douche vs turd sandwich, or the choice between the shiniest of two turds. It's hard to find any good coming out of this election cycle.

I am bummed that Prop 205 (Recreational Pot) failed in AZ, the extra jobs would have been nice around here.
Ah well, time to get to work and get a new Prop in 2018. I am hoping the opposition can give some constructive criticism for the new version. It would be a refreshing change from the vitriol and rhetoric spewed.
