Sacrifices are usually small, nonsentient animals that are kept for this purpose: chickens, doves, snakes, small mammals. The Kismeti themselves will offer a ritual token sacrifice of a pinprick of their own blood, usually on holy days, or special occaisions like marriages, funerals, etc. Kismeti called to serve their goddess begin training as blood mages at a young age.
nice character. she seems so sad, and reading the story of her I can imagine why. a scarf with all names of her people which passed away? let's hope there is no war in the folds for her folks, or she might stagger under the scarf's weight. awesome idea here. :)
the scarf looks like her tail at first glance. I would have put the curve further right, so it'd be clear it was the scarf end. :) but, never mind me. just musing...

Her people are fairly small in number, and rarely fight with each other. Gods and their people are closely tied together in this world, they all feel the strain Kismet is under so they work towards a common good.
I am hoping to give all the gods a bit of their people's appearance while still keeping them fairly human, as she moves the scarf end flicks and sways like a cat's tail. ;)
