The idea of a HTTYD 'sona was put into my head, so I ended up making one; a Night Fury. Cliche, I know, but it was either that or a Stormcutter. However, I'm unsure of this design now, so if anyone's interested in it, it's up for USD offers! I'm looking for around $10-$20.

Oh god, I feel you there, I always draw my shit too dark and then see it show up on every other screen. I don't really see anything too glaring here! There's like tiny little nicks or whatever but I really had to zoom in and look hard to find them, so I don't think anyone's gonna mind.
I'm sorry you took it to heart, but I can't take an art offer if I'm not comfortable with it, or if I'm worried that I won't be happy with it.
I didn't say your art or style was bad - I said the quality, from my point of view, is inconsistent. There's a giant difference between the two.
As artists, we're always improving. And part of that includes feeling unhappy with our work, and getting an outside perspective. If we weren't somewhat unhappy with our work, we wouldn't feel the need to improve. To practice. To try new techniques. But, simultaniously, lashing out when someone else points out a flaw or, y'know, putting yourself down for "not being good enough" doesn't do any good. Instead, look back on your own work and see how far YOU'VE come - I'm sure you're doing much better than you were two years ago - or maybe even one!
And about the style thing; forget it. Seriously, forget it! Just draw what makes you happiest, and the style will come naturally. :)
You don't need some cool, 100% unique style to stand out from the crowd, either. Draw what interests you the most, and you'll stand out on your own!

I was. The reply I left still applies -> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/216.....#cid:114322422
Again, I'm sorry you took it the way you did. I've been there. I know it's hard not to do. But it's not about you as a person, alright? Your art means so much to you, but it doesn't define who you are. It never should. YOU define your art, not the other way around!
