It has been a while since I did any of these comics.
Im happy I managed. The result isn't the best but, certainly an improvement of the previous ones.
Anyway, hope you like it, and comment away.
The size is smaller than I wanted so that it would fit the website. Remember to reload or use the download on another tab to read it!

Tolerable at certain time intervals, I assure you!
Glad you like it :3
And well, pilots do learn a lot of physics, mathematics, trigonometry on top of engineering to understand what they do so... yeah. :'D he does know about engineering and techy things! (considering we already established he did mod his car too) <<

Okay, so, here we are, with the comic, with the aweshoomness! What a nice surprise omg <3
I absolutely dig the rough transition between the darkness of the mid-part of the comic and the luminosity of p. 36/37, it really is a great passage and it gives a lot of air at the narration. Lighting in general is great in there, but I would haven't expected anything different since you're the best at atmospheres <3
Characters' expressivity is great as well, I so love its development in each panel, it never is static even when you repeat the same scene in different ones. Both characters are so well placed and developed here, consequently the reader doesn't necessary have to know them beforehand to frame their personalities properly. Oh, Varik <3 bless your heart and presence!
You worked so hard on this, your passion and love for the narration and characters themselves is shown in the best way here and I'm smiling so bad because everything is greatly developed, truly! Thanks for sharing a slice of their stories, and thank you for being such amazing at everything you do <3

I know Bgs could have used a lot more time but, I figure it was good practice and way of telling something. Thank you for reading it and the wonderful feedback.

(omg so, like, I was busy doing research when I first saw this and couldn't really leave a comment then, and it was... a bit of a bad week for leaving a comment last week but now... I think I can formulate something adequate XD )
Pally, oh my goodness, I'm reading this for, like, the fiftieth time now and there are still moments in it where I just need to take a moment and recover. :*) This is so great. Really, believe it. This is just so great. So very, very great.
For one thing, it's just so beautifully cinematic. As someone who considers themselves something of a "cinematic" storyteller, I just can't help but to imagine it as a full-fledged animation. Your work absolutely deserves an animated adaptation, you know, but I digress! The choice of perspective for each and every panel is so absolutely RIGHT. Whether it's the focus on their faces (that set of four side-by-side panels "I did work in logistics for six months, remember?" are just getting me every single time - I find it hard to take my eyes off of them. ) or the panels that are just nothing but the environment, everything is paced perfectly and everything seems used in just the right way to keep things going while always enhancing the mood. It's just so cured and stylized in a way that's clearly done with intention and not just random choice. It's so cinematic... it flows so well and all is done with stylistic flair of just the right sort. I can't get over it. ^w^ ^w^ ^w^
And that dialogue? Oh my goodness, you are just a master of making realistic characters. I read this and can't help but to imagine their voices, just as I would while reading a particularly good book. <3 Virtually all of the dialogue seems like something the characters would actually say, from what I know of them, and the personality differences are clear. I feel that, if I were to just type it all in a document without the accompanying comic, I'd still be easily able to tell who is who without even having any context beforehand. That's something that's an absolute necessity in writing and I JUST LOVE SO MUCH THAT YOU'RE GOOD AT IT!!!
And it's so emotionally impactful too. The parallels, Pally? THE PARALLELS?! HOOOOOOOBOY!!! As a writer, I'm all about parallels. I've yet to upload anything with -quite- that much complexity, but I've a good idea of how to do it, and I feel that (in my humble opinion, of course) your parallels here are just spectacular. The thing that hits me the most is that panel with T (in? ...into this mess?), just that bit of dialogue and what's being illustrated there says so, so much about T and... his pain. And it can resonate so strongly with a reader of any sort, I think. <3 It "hurts so good," and there's so much said through everything, it makes the weight of the parallelism and the context here so full and real, and we don't even have to know all the info to feel T's pain (the room and T as analogy works perfectly... so much of the past just... sitting there, not being used and in comes Varik and... he just... helps to clean it up, bring it to light. <3 <3 <3 )
Bringing it all together is your unique, stylized approach to the art itself, which as you know, I always always ALWAYS adore! I think you nailed everyone's expressions, they all look totally legitimate, and the background work is so stylish and inky and I love it. So many little details to look at! It's just pure eye candy. I love all the little bits and pieces of the place and T's "office;" everything there has a little story. Really though? Every single panel featuring the chars seems to have an expression I'm in love with. Those four near the top have still captured my heart fully, and that one panel with T (into this mess? <3 <3 <3 he makes my heart ache uhnf) along with the three after "yeah I can fix it" just carry so much emotion and tiredness and just...
...it's so great, Pally, so very very great. <3 I'm in love.
Okay, I know this is kind of a weird comment and that it's super duper long, but I've left long comments before and this one just... uhnf, it absolutely deserves it. I hope it's not an issue or anything, but I just really feel like this deserves, like, a full review or something else I can't provide. XD I really wanted to leave something good and to go over absolutely everything so... yeah. Hope it doesn't look too ridiculous. :/
That being said, please have all the confidence in this; it's just so lovely. It's like... you ever felt like someone made a thing and it felt like it was made just for you, according to your tastes and sensibilities, but you know it really wasn't? Yeah, that's how I feel looking at this. ^w^
Much love Pally! I'll never not adore this. <3 ;)
