I designed and made this fully-articulated set of vampire bat wings for a masquerade costume. It took a week and a half to hand sew them, and I won a prize in the costume contest with them. I can still use my hands without taking them off, and can easily sit down and even drive a car while I have them on! I can also detach the wings from my arms and hook them in a folded position under each arm, so they hide completely under a coat or cloak.
