While wandering through the forest of redwoods, I happened across a small herd of mule deer (if half a dozen can count as much of a "herd"). This one, in particular, was especially kind to me... it held this pose for probably close to a minute straight, while I fired away photo after photo, with different angles, zoom ranges, etc. Then it turned and casually went on its way, as if to say "There, you're welcome."
