These video game scenes take so much time and came out busier than I'd intended. Either way, the game is on.

I have a very strong feeling/hypothesis that Kevin's biological parents are probably divorced or at least separated, also that Kevin's father is possibly a total letch/polyamorist manwhore, which of course would be very typical based on the common presumptive nature of rabbits , in addition to maybe being a bit of a misogynist while possibly having the parental mindset of one of those psychologically negative enabling wealthy 'cool dads' that coddles and spoils his kid rotten while treating him as if he were still a pre-adolescent, hence Kevin's rudeness, immaturity and developmentally regressed nature.
Let me know me if my analysis hit the nail on the head here would you,
chucky
Note: When I say that Kevin's father may be a misogynist of course I don't mean an actual misogynist in the most literal sense of the word but rather simply a man who is rude or untactful in his conduct towards women, or perhaps one of those more "old timey" minded people that you will often still find here and there in pockets of society, that trend toward the more archaic values and attitudes toward traditional gender roles. Obviously not socially acceptable, polite or "politically correct" by present day standards, but not by any means "evil" "destructively backward thinking" or "wrong" at least most certainly not in contrast to the many other less flattering aspects of human nature repeated throughout history. I personally have no problem with other men/women or people in general who think like this as long as they are not violent or forceful about their natural ideals/beliefs toward different thinking people, in fact I actually look at it as breath of fresh air whenever I see more "alpha male types" daring to defy the admittedly out of control levels of political correctness that have acutely contaminated the DNA of the contemporary status-quo social construct in western civilization.
Apologies for that rambling ideological addendum, it was something I just felt necessary to note.

"letch/polyamorist manwhore" Dude I'm fuckin' rollin' at this! Love it!
Yeah you're pretty close. I put in Kev's character description that he was raised in a rather 'paws off' childhood. His parents weren't around much and he just got pawned off on whatever family member was around. Here you go, it's still pretty accurate.

You're right in what you mentioned in your note. Kev means nothing by his gruffness, he's just very unfiltered and immature. That's another thing, my characters are in their mid teens so it isn't right to push mature adult behavior standards on them. Anyone who remembers how they and their peers acted at that age should relate to how some of these characters behave. I'm 41, so sometimes it's a challenge to think back and remember how many people, including myself, were angry frustrated assholes in their teens. The more I write Kev, the more people from college and high school I'm reminded of, and the more I think, "Hey, I remember that guy, I need to put him into this character's personality."

Well I figured as much (about Kevin's dad that is) though I think it's mostly just a rabbit thing . But I really think Kevin should watch out! (or people should watch out for Kevin anyway) because I think all that immaturity that he suffers from might also stem from some repressed/developmentally retarded dormant hormones (possibly caused by a recessive gene) that will likely manifest themselves with a vengeance when the specifically reproductive aspects of his puberty finally catch up with him.
I'm actually a little bit worried for Kevin were this to be the case to be quite honest, I have a feeling that one day he'll be his normal self, and the next day he'll be totally freaking out when he wakes up from his first 'wet dream' and thinks that there something medically wrong with himself (I have a feeling he didn't receive much of a proper sexual education in his earlier teens either).
I'm figuring that one of three things could happen, Kevin will either suddenly become smitten with a female rabbit/doe he meets somewhere on campus, and without thinking suddenly wind up getting her pregnant without really even knowing much about reproduction, or he'll become a cassanova as it's implied Kitchy had been for a while (btw Kitchy is my favorite side character just ahead of Kevin, Adam and Kyra, and even though Chucky is still presently hopelessly focused and infatuated with Merry I really hope do that something sparks between Chucky and Kyra soon or at least eventually!) or that as he bounces from girl to girl I fear the possibility that poor Kevin might eventually actually get himself into some serious trouble, that of which he will have no idea how to handle, such as unintentionally getting himself wrongfully accused of attempted rape for being too forward with a young woman or something of that nature, because Kevin seems so naive with such little knowledge of how the real world works it leaves me legitimately fearing for his safety and well being.

Wow, I'm glad I made a character that you can get so interested in.
They have very good sexual education in their public school system, but it still comes down to the kid paying attention and relating to it. I had reproductive education in 5th grade, but to me it was 'something that adults do' and I related to it like a science class. That's how Kev would have seen it.
Most people I knew who were like Kev just eventually grew up. Not to say they didn't get some pain on the way but, that's just how it goes.

I love analyzing characters myself; so I have to throw in my two cents.
I think Kevin is gay and knows it. He just doesn't talk about it. I have a notion that it's because in this world sexual orientation is a non-issue and that he is more focused on school and games at the moment.
Either he has ADHD with the hyperactive sub-type, or his high energy is just his Bunny Biology.
As to the misogyny (ahem): Kevin probably has some significant dislike of authority figures, the latter whom are rarely tolerant of impulsive or unpredictable behavior in others. He may have had a laize-faire childhood, but I'm sure he must have gotten into trouble frequently in school.
Between his possible homosexuality and run-ins with authority figures (at least half of those being female), he's going to have some anger toward females in general.
Thus the outbursts toward the snotty girls in the snowfall scene and the game character in the current scene.
