Which also helps explain why the Klingons hated Kirk so much.. I believe somewhere maybe on DS9 it was revealed the Klingons had a war and wiped out the Tribbles.. In a later story in the same series someone ends up time traveling and brings back a bunch of tribbles then again considering how they breed it would only take one..
I'd think so considering the entire Klingon race had a glorious war to rid the universe of Tribbles. A defenseless race whose only defense is growling and if they have access to food being able to outbreed every other race in the universe we know of.. I think its illegal to import TRibbles to the Federation as well because of how hard it is to control thier breeding and numbers away from thier planet of origin
I'd love to see that. Make sure you get the combadge right if you do - http://www.chakatsden.com/chakat/Im.....s-rankings.jpg

Does it make me too much of a Trek geek that the first thing I noticed was that the uniform is from the post-Nemesis games and comics (particulalry the "Countdown" comic leading into the next Star trek film), but the phaser is straight-up Classic Trek from 120 years earlier?
...Come to think of it, don't answer that.

Tribbles are from the Original Series, introduced in an episode called "The Trouble with Tribbles". They are tiny balls of fluff that eat and reproduce. If not kept in check they can make like a million tribbles in a short time span. They don't like Kilingons [the guys in Trek with the funny foreheads], but everyone else they like... they have a relaxing trilling effect and are very fun. ^_^

I really like this take on a male Caitian. He reminds me a bit of Kimba! Hmmmm, I wonder how my cat would like those tribbles?
When designing a male Caitian for my own universe, I tried to do something a bit different, as you can see in this picture: http://www.chakatsden.com/chakat/Im.....AndMurawrr.jpg One of these days I'll have to get you to draw him. He's a semi-regular side character in my stories.

They do, indeed: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1135849/ .
And, Mzzkiti isn't quite a Caitian, and those aren't quite tribbles, but close enough: http://www.whiteponyproductions.com.....tc/ctc0133.htm

The uniform isn't actually from any of the series. The uniform is actually a concept Federation design for the new Star Trek Online MMO that is being developed by Cryptic/ATARI. The phaser is an older design but I like the older design better since I liked the idea that you could carry a pocket phaser around and then upgrade it simply by putting it in a better housing. That, and it would probly aim better than the majority of the phasers out there. Heh, the older phasers seemed to work better too. Least.... They tended to disentegrate the bad guy rather than simply burn them with a flesh wound. Lionel is usually a male felitaur but I thought it might be fun to make him a biped Caitian. I'll admit I was inspired by Kimba for markings and I own the DVD collection. Hopefully, the Cyptic MMO game will allow for Caitian characters to be made but I won't know till it actually comes out. The hard core Trekkers usually don't consider Caitians canon to the Star Trek universe since they mainly appeared in the very old animated series. One in particular was the communications officer named Lt M'ress if I recall correctly. She always spoke in a purring accent. Heh, which also reminded me of catwoman in the old TV batman series. The old batman TV series might be torture to watch so see it at your own risk but the Bat computer could solve anything. Drop in evidence and out pops out the answer.
