Out of the forest walked a large group of dark clothed people and headed straight for them.
Without hesitating Skyiler pushed Niji into a bush "Stay here I'll draw their attention and you hurry home! Tell father about the trap and about these people... Whatever you do don't come out of that bush until it's safe" Skyiler spoke to her with his mindvoice.
Niji's eyes were wide and at first she shook her head not liking this idea at all, but before she could stop him, he was already stepping into the light of the sun "Excuse me, I think I'm lost, could you show me where the trail is?" He said as the shadowy figures surrounded him.

"You're a brave little freak aren't you" One of the figures said; the voice was distorted by a device, it didn't sound natural "The proffessor will be pleased if we bring you in" The creature cackled and then pointed to Skyiler with a clawed finger "Snatch him!"
A couple of creatures ran up to the 10 year old to grab him "Well it's been a while since I was in a good fight" The cub said grinning leaped and kicked the talking creature in the forehead "Ya want me, ya gonna have to catch me first!" He said and lured the creatues further away from the bush where Niji was hiding.

One by one the creatures attacked him and one by one they were kicked to the ground or scratched.
But then came more from the forest, before Skyiler could react he felt chains thrown around his wrists and then his legs.
He hissed and barred his fangs and lunged forwards to strike the creature infront of him but another chain was thrown around his neck and he was yanked down to the ground.
Skyiler tried to stand up but he was beaten and then he was injected with a drug that knocked him out.
Niji watched in horror as they disappeared in a puff of black smoke, she covered her mouth preventing herself from screaming, she felt tears running down her cheeks.
