I'm with you Ebony, I do like the new ones, but there's something about the older ones that the new ones don't have. Plus you need an engineering degree and a computer to work on the new ones because of all the electronics in 'em.

Yeah baby. I'd take teh older one too, and funny thing is, I was going to say that very thing about the new gt500kr.. way over priced for what you get.

Agreed. I do love the S197 models still. Own a 2005 Mustang myself. A blast to drive.

The older Shelby GT 500 is worth allot if it's in mint condition. As for the new one, it's nice but it has no value to it like a classic. Either way they're both nice.

My fave of the Shelby Mustangs is "Elenore" , the original charcoal grey GT500 used in the movie Gone in 60 seconds. (simmilar to the one in the Background)

For me the 500KR then :p overpriced? in Spain we laugh about ur Mustang prices, this blue GT500 would cost more than 90.000$ if SOMEDAY Ford starts to sell Mustangs in Europe.... (the basic 300hp version costs much less than my Civic for example)

Haha I just drove a V6 Mustang this weekend. It pulls quite nicely! I floored it and the engine sang. But the steering is kind of heavy and it rides like our F150

well surely because thats the bad point of the cheap price: no assisted steering, also synonimus of sportivity and also part of the reason is because the big tyres

Well it's also Rear wheel drive. Plus I hate the ultra light steering in my Honda. But I fell in love with the Stang, tried the Pontiac G8 V6 and tried to floor it on the highway and nothing happened :(

but rear wheel drive is the best! (and so authentic! x3) I like my Honda, is not soft, just a pair points hard, enought to give u this sportive behavior. I just miss more stability on high speeds (talking about 120mph or more), the rear part looks a bit "slippy" (also because the tyres are now more than 26000 miles of course). About Mustang, damn, I will never have the chance to test it T_T
