TELEMITES ARE A CLOSED SPECIES CREATED BY AND BELONGING TO ME.
Basics: Telemites are humanoid proportioned creatures with one eye, no mouth, a charging port, and a screen on their body. There are two types: New and Obsolete.
New: Multi-colored, high quality screen and USB charging port. High functionality, never glitches. Voice sounds like a high-quality text-to-speech. Asexual/Aromantic in all cases
Obsolete: Single-colored, low quality, buggy screen and a 3 prong charging port. Mediocre functionality, prone to glitches and shut-downs. Voice sounds like a chipspeech program, or an 80s text-to-speech program. Any sexual/romantic orientation that is given to them. Obsolete Telemites also have dewclaws, while new ones do not.
Telemites were created by humans to, originally, serve as companions, friends, and stand-ins for humans. They were created to be friendly, personable, and hard-working. However, when this model began falling in love with their creators/companions, the makers decided to discontinue the model. All existing models were allowed to keep going as they usually did, but all Telemites created after this time were created to be asexual and aromantic to prevent this kind of attachment to humans.
New Telemites are used to work more than they are to be companions, but some are purchased and created to be companions. Old Telemites are sold for high prices due to their rarity and personality.
1: ALWAYS. HAVE. CLAWS. Paw pad in center of hand, always circular. Telemites do not have soft fingers or paws on their hands OR feet. However, some Telemites have sharper claws than others.
2: ALL TELEMITES HAVE HORNS. All Telemites have at least one, and they can have as many as they can fit on their body. The horns can be natural, animalistic looking, or you can just go full homestuck on this shit
3: Telemites can have any kind of tail.
4: Telemites always have digitigrade legs.
