Halloween was so-so for me. I would've done stuff. But I had to be part of the curling league (figures it had to be a Monday night league, and that Monday had to be Halloween!) with nothing but old guys and a forced courtesy of having to pay winners/losers beer at least once. I don't drink, so I shouldn't have to do pay for others' as they whine about backaches and "old times." I never knew there was such a custom; wasn't like that when I was at the York Curling Club (I mean I was in high school at the time, but still!). Of course that meant that once more, Grandma's house remained dark and unavailable to trick-or-treaters (then again, Grandma only allows close family near her place anyway [her house is restrictive, lol]). To be fair, I did bring along my Deadpool mask to surprise my Mom (which I only wore for one round/end anyway) and only got reactions from two - maybe three - old curlers there (that's redundant; they're all old) as they all pretty much had no idea who Deadpool was (then again, they're from a different time). On the plus side, I didn't have to buy anyone a drink once I told them I didn't want to drink nor was in the mood for even a soda that night - I figured there'd be a lot of remaining mini Mars bars for me to consume afterward (spoiler alert: there was only two left) - so that worked out nicely (of course maybe next week, I'll engage in it at least once). But on the negative side, our team lost anyway 10-4; our main Skip was away, and the rest of the team made some terrible calls and shots (then again, earlier on in the game, I messed up a few shots going beyond the house [which Mom severly called me out on while out driving yesterday, lol], but at least I recovered afterwards, more or less).

So yeah. Slightly not enjoyable; I wish I would've been out at a Halloween party like that - or any other Halloween party - or even handing out candy or something. In fact, it made me think the other day: how come FE hasn't done any FE-themed Halloween parties anymore since 2013?
