Final page of this little comic.
Now, I’ve had the basic idea for this for quite some time. But there are so many topics to bring up, that many things had to be left out. Because of that, there’s a lot here that’s on the cutting room floor, which is why I’ll be adding a few extra bits here in the description.
The comic version you see is a collaborative effort between ThornWolf33 of DA and myself.
Will people get offended by this? Most assuredly. But I’m not going to change what I say because of that. If I did, I’d be falling for the same traps that are attempting to phase out freedom of speech.
In all honesty, Progressivism could easily be its own comic due to its complex and subversive nature. So it's probably a tale to focus on another day.
Multiple wise men are paraphrased in this final page. In the close-up on panel two, Amber refers to this quote from Thomas Jefferson, “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”
The phrase “if men were angels, no government would be necessary,” comes from the Federalist Papers and is the shortened version of this, “Government is, after all, the greatest of all reflections on human nature. If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels governed men, no controls on government would be necessary. But men govern men. So, security measures are necessary to control the abuses of government.” Government is a necessary evil to create liberty without anarchy.
Many of you will probably ask, “Who is John Galt?” For those that do, you may be interested in Ayn Rand’s epoch called Atlas Shrugged, a tremendous novel not just for its length but for its content. Her work has been a great source of inspiration for me. And Atlas Shrugged is…in a lot of ways a story about the fall of the United States.
And this last part is for all the Conservatives who have looked at this. You’re not alone. No matter how much the “open-minded and accepting” liberal media may ignore us, hate us, and refuse to give us fair coverage, you are not alone. There will always be others around who share your values. We’re just nowhere near as loud as the “politically correct” who won’t offend anyone…except Conservatives and the Constitution.
