Drama, instead of telling us the whole of a man's life, must place him in such a situation, tie such a knot, that when it is untied, the whole man is visible. ~Leo Tolstoy

Hello everyone, sorry for that late night update. It was a very busy weekend, what with major theater events (making, not watching) getting in the way. But that can't stop the fiction!
Before we go into this week's submissions,
neopatamonx wanted to let our little community know about NaPoWriMo, or National Poetry Writing Month, as detailed in this link:
http://www.everypoet.org/pffa/showt.....ad.php?t=44400
Just to clarify, we'll accept poetry here, and we'll list it under a different category than fiction, but being a community built on fiction, poems may not get as much attention so please keep that in mind.
This week is a triple threat from
panzergulo, who was kind enough to provide his own synopsis for each story. Enjoy!
Tales From The North Edge: The Fox Who Couldn't Say "Wolverine"
by
panzergulo
A one-gag shorty which tells the tale of Hakim the Fox and how he got his foot into his mouth. Fantasy, comedy and colliding of two cultures.

Tales From The North Edge: Vasama The Fox And The Wolf
by
panzergulo
A short story from a mini-series of four short stories. This still stands very well on its own, as it's the first story of the series. The story gives a peek to young fox Vasama's life and how he encounters a wolf and learns some bits about the culture of the wolves of the north edge.

Tales From The North Edge: The Tragic Tale Of Kullo The Wolf
by
panzergulo
An epic tragedy that leans heavily on Kalevala and Finnish culture, this story is THE tale of the north edge. Triumphs, failures, love and death, and if read carefully, there might be also a moral in the story. Contains some violence and adult themes.
