Hannah and the flooding tunnel (choose the outcome!)
The treasure was acquired, yet the trap afterward was unexpected. Hannah might have underestimated the simple task as the tunnel flooded almost to the top, with no way out in sight.
I'd like to do a follow-up drawing to this, the question is which would you rather see, a good ending? or a bad ending? Leave a short story on how it happens and I'll pick one to draw next.
Based off the Neopets game "Hannah and the Pirate Caves" which was pretty much my favorite game on that site long ago.

Oh, god. I thought I was the only one who remembered this game! <3
Hehehe. Actually does remind me of a story associated with it on the site that has since been edited to remove the juicy bits, where Hannah almost drowns herself grabbing a massive emerald from the bottom of a subterranean lake.
I'd say bad ending: "With one final gulp of air, Hannah dips under the water, holding a second or two before trying to open her eyes. The stinging of water hitting them had been thankfully dulled from plenty of practice for this diving trip. She quickly looked down to her paw to confirm the emerald she'd grabbed was still there. Now she just had to find a way out.
She glanced about the small cavern she had found herself in. The way back had been blocked off by a landslide of rocks, but there was a way forward... going down. Suppressing her urge to let out a worried whine, the Usul kicked and pulled towards the cavern exit. Down she swam a ways as her chest grew tighter and tighter, and her hope of breathing air again slowly faded.
Eventually, on the way down, her foot caught on some rope. Letting out a yelp, she quickly tugged on it, freeing it with a loud "click!" noise. Her heart sank as she quickly realized what kind of trap she'd activated. Above, a ton of rocks sank down towards her. She kicked and scrambled downwards, finding the bottom and thankfully a branching cave heading off to the side.
She quickly kicked off towards the exit, but was stopped short when the rocks came down pinning her long tail to the bottom. She let out a long, loud yell of bubbles, her body stiffening and her paw dropping the emerald she'd come here to find. By the time she'd managed to regain control of herself, she'd already instinctively drawn in a breath of the cold, deadly liquid around her. Her paws flew up to grip at her neck as she coughed out the last remaining bubbles from her lungs, sucking in another deep breath, burning her lungs with the water. Her grip ever tightened as her toes clenched up, her cheeks going a dark blue.
Over time, her desperate gulps turned into heavy pants, her grip loosening as stars danced about in her vision. Her eyes eventually fell to the emerald she'd dropped, the very reason she'd gotten herself killed. She barely had the strength to let out a chuckle at the prospect it was her own greed that took her life before finally she was unable to think anything else coherent."
