I couldn't bear to color it in any more.
this is my own little memoriam for 9-11
I was about an hour's drive from the Pentagon when it was hit and I remember a kid standing up in my class, crying almost. "Oh... my god.... Teacher can I leave and call my dad... he was working today.... I need to see if he's alright." His father was supposed to be working in the marine corps branch of the pentagon (The spot that was hit). Luckily enough his father was sent out to do something else that day.
It was a scary thing for me, I lived on a military base, had fences and still was terrified. We would have been the President's quickest mode of transportation there and we probably would have been next. Every time a plane flew over (Only happened twice and it was our boys) I'd cower over in a corner and call my mother. It was terrifying for a 12 year old.
And for some reason, today I feel that I should do this for those that died. It is my way of saying, you are true heroes, firemen, policement, military guys. You are our only hope of surviving in this world. May god bless you and give you the wings of an angel to help you soar through danger and protect what is right.

Truth. For me, the people who should be remembered most (not to cast disparages on the civilians who died, of course) are the police and firefighters who died in the WTC, along with the Flight 93 passengers. I saw United 93 sunday and thought it was perfect- It didn't sugarcoat or include any special effects, which is how it should be. All's I can say is, it've been an honour to have been at the head of the passengers who fought back.
Anyway, enough spammage. I'm glad you drew this, though. There're people who want to forget, and you just can't. Thanks. <3
