This is the only color re-paint I have done mostly because it annoys me when people do it just for effect. How ever this has a great story behind it and hence why I did it.
The musher pictured here is Mr. Jeff King one of the most respected Iditarod mushers. A few years ago he was stuck in some real bad weather and his hand were being frost bitten, facing the hard choice that an Iditarod musher has to when times get tough he had decided to scratch the race moments away form finalizing his decision a Native Alaskan woman ran up and exclaimed "Mr. King you cant stop now your my favorite musher please take my gloves" gladly he took the warm handmade gloves and finished the race that year now he wears the gloves for good luck when he is out on the lonesome Iditarod trail.
And that is why I did the photo retouch and painted the gloves back in, this print will never be run for sale only two are in existence one that I will be hand delivering to King shortly and one that will stay in my archives.
