BASICALLY what im saying is monkeys are hecking awesome and i think they're really underrated in this fandom??
Monkeys and prosimians are my fav primates. but overall these are nature's memelords, animals with human-ish characteristics.

He's a mandrill! He has some very minor lion traits i added bc lions are awesome (he's like 1/5 lion, almost nothing lmao) BUT YEAH i love lore from around the world omg, monkeys were really relevant in hindi, chinese and japanese mythology and lore. i'll definitely give that a look ;0;

Primates are legit teriffying, mandrills and chimps like??? I Read a book once that talks about how higher primates, chimps in particular are actually capable of malice aforethought which is like.. 'This monkey will murder you for personal gain and plan it months in advance' apes are scary (also cool tho, but Plz why would anyone want to own these things as PETS)

OMg thanks!! and yeah i've heard of that :Oc apes are more similar to humans so i reckon they're more likely to have human like thoughts, which includes malicious ones.
Honestly i prefer monkeys and prosimians because of that reason, since they're farther away from the human evolution line and therefore more "animalistic" than greater and lesser apes ;w;

It's so neat that more people are warming up to monkeys, this guy here definitely helped me out. Up until now i had stayed well away from primates and thought they were creepy, boy i was wrong LMAO
(also same, i prefer to work with monkeys and prosimians. Those are the least similar to humans so they're more appealing for me :0c)
