If it's such a problem, why not just breed a female??.... just saying.... nice work too

The starters have a pretty big M/F ratio with a preference for Male. So people have their panties in a twist about a feminine male pokemon.

Which I guess is still an issue even though we have male gardevoir and delphox and female machamp and all. XD

I can't break tradition, going with fire myself lol. When I first got Diamond and found Bunneary I loved HIM so much, then he evolved into Lopunny, and I was all like "We've gone too far, I love you anyways" :P long story short, just love your Pokemon :3

Well I'm actually really hoping that they'll switch it up... and this one with be mostly female instead of mostly male.

I 100% don't think it's a problem but like.... It would be kind of cool if they did that.

The problem with that is Breeding. If the Female Ratio is too high, everyone will have millions of starters, since Females carry down species to their offspring. You either need to soft reset for a female (3 hours, 25 attempts until i got one) or find a ditto to send down a male's species

Basically, all starters are 87.5% male because it prevents the standard player from having more than one starter. Its a huge, but nessissary annoyance given the rarity of dittos and the pain of soft-resetting in Sun/Moon

You're talking to the person that's very much so... I play the game cause it's a fun game so most of what you just said went over my head for the most part but I get that.
It's to prevent it sure.... but I mean... there's a ton of ways around that.

Every way but the fastest for 6 generations, no reason to stop it unfortunately
