Here is some information on ghostlings:
"These little flame spirits are a tad mischevious, they make themselves invisible durring the day by appearing as normal candle flames, but at night or in especially dark places they make their true forms known!
The birth and creation of candleglow ghostlings is a misterious process, no one is really sure where they come from. We do know However that each ghostling seeks out a vessle (usualy a candle) where it spends most of it's time. Ghostlings can leave their vessles for brief periods of time but do need an object of some sort to burn in order to stay alive.
WARNING, ghostlings can be mischevious!! A ghostling may leave it's vessle to swallow up those papers you left on your desk, or perhaps pay a visit to your fireplace and grow unusualy large or even hostile! They may also jump from vessle to vessle, if your ghostling chooses a new candle or object to haunt it can be extremely difficult to convince it to leave! Your best options are sprinkling the ghostling with holy water, convincing it to move to a more appealing vessle, or surender the chosen vessle alltogether."
