Looking at some of the test renders you did, you included all the little details; for example, how the white edge is supposed to be sharp (making that halberd-like attribute I intended in case my wizard character had to engage in some fisticuffs in a pinch), while the others aren't. I actually don't remember telling anyone about that, maybe apart from a couple of a people a long while back, so maybe we have something of a design hivemind going on. :V I can't thank you enough for making this sweet render, it looks really elegant, and, paired with the display case, looks like something you'd find in a museum of distinguished magical knick-knacks.

lol. actually like you are with peoples characters I can pretty much pick out a weapons design based off basic attributes. even tho the image doesn't show the edges being sharp its obvious the weapon is. most of what made this render a hard one was the cloth you put on it. But what i'm really proud of is the display setup. Maybe i nthe future i'll re-cisit this one and give it a much more natural feel to it.

My goodness! Did you make that cloth in anim8or? It looks like that's where this was made, anyway..
It's very nice, but the back cloth could use a bit more variation. In comparison to the thinner piece, it's hanging very inorganically. Also, the blade could have used some more geometry. It's an interesting design, but it looks flat from this angle.

you pose a good point. however do to the way the cloth wrapped around the halberd i had to make due with what i had. sides this was really supposed to look like a plastic model.
