As many of you know, April is "National Poetry Month", and in the past I'd composed a number of poems for the "Fat Furs Mailing List" - including a variety of haikus and limericks (all of them G-rated, of course).
Well, I thought it was about time that I'd illustrate some of these poems and present them to all of you in "Fur Affinity", beginning with a limerick I'd written a few days ago...
Although badgers are generally carnivores, the one depicted in both my poem and comic gag has a 'baked goods jones'. So, it was a simple matter of stuffing him with rolls, until he developed rolls of his own!
This comic was supposed to have been part of my "Extraordinarily Fat Furries" strip (which is still a WIP), but if it ever gets off the ground, I would obviously devote many of the April strips to "National Poetry Month". I hope to present a few more limerick comic gags (and perhaps a few haikus to boot), before the end of this month...
