He does have an accent when thinking, but due to auto correct i seem to have missed one of the alterations I needed to make. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Just to explain not to be rude in anyway, I just want you to understand my thinking. Oscar's accent is based on a weak German accent so he has trouble forming "W" and "TH" noises, but depending on the overall sound of the word depends on whether that accent will appear in text; so "whereas" will be written "vhereas" and "there" will be written "tzere" but "other" wont change due to the sound of the "th" not being as strong. I hope this is helpful.
