The easiest background I've ever done.
After banishing Luna to the moon, Celestia had to take charge of ruling Equestria by herself, gradually growing closer to the mortal ponies and learning to be a kind and generous sovereign. All the time, however, she was readily aware of the fact that her lenience on Luna had opened the possibility for her to return in the future, which might spell doom for the world she had put so much care to protect. She had to prepare herself for the possibility that she would have to destroy any threat which came to her ponies, no matter who they might be.

My Little Pony as a whole is owned by Hasbro.

The general fire/sun appearance isn't particularly special, though a small degree of inspiration came from the "angels" in Hellboy.
The various smoke plumes are intended to represent the mane and wings, but it's not especially distinct.
