Just watched the time-lapse video of this you had the link to, how long did it take? A lot of tail end work and processing it looked like?

I should make a new one. It'd take longer because I tend to add more detail now, but it'd show how I draw now using the Cintiq 12WX as opposed to how I used to do it on pen and paper.

I started off the same way too, sketch - scan - finish but manage now to reduce a lot of the finish steps which probably halved the working time. I think that like traditional media I&P finishers once you get a routine you can whiz through stuff automatically - helps with consistency too :)
How do you get on with the cintiq? I tried one last year and found it so un-nerving drawing on a screen so stuck with intuos, guess the hand-eye co-ordination was confused :P I like paper though, unfortunately you can't 'undo erase' !!

I can't believe this wasn't in my faves list. How shameful. Great stuff. Wish you drew him more but nyeh, draw what you like I always say :)

Now you have to make an adult version just to make everyone even happier, hehe! ^.^
