Way back when games were still distributed on CDs and RPGs were so big that they needed several of those disks, way back when "insert disk 2" was a thing, I did a chocobo transformation sequence.

I wasn't at all certain if I was ever going to insert that second disk. And when I finally decided to give it a go (way back in 2011) it took a little longer than expected to actually get somewhere. In fact, I was about to shelve the whole project when, about a year ago,  pontos requested a non-canon one-off comic with the characters. That made me decide I actually like these characters enough to finish this thing.

So please go thank  pontos, because without him this comic would never have been completed.

Just one word of caution though: this whole thing consists of a single idea I rejected for the first part so don't expect it to be anywhere near as good. This is really nothing more than me having some more fun with the characters.
