★★ IT CAME FROM BELOW
This luminette, by some means, has become amphibious. They're a relatively docile luminette, though they do not exactly look the part, and spend their days eating fish in the depths of the swamp they call home. They have developed gills underneath the gems on their neck, allowing them to breathe under water and stay there as long as they need to. Which, is generally a long time, since they like to avoid people to the best of their ability.

★★ HE HUNGERS
This luminette has never had enough energy, or enough food. He has grown thin and gaunt, and his sanity has eroded away. Over time, through exposure to natural energies around him, he developed a sort of sick immortality. Gem grew large and rough, no longer the smooth sun gem he was born with, and his head sprouted antlers, teeth pointed and nails long. He developed a hunger for the flesh of his kind, and it is a hunger that is never satiated. Keep a wide berth, and don't go into the woods alone.

★★THE COUNT
This luminette has come in contact with a magical infection of some kind, that has spread through his entire body and overworked his gem system. He runs out of energy incredibly fast, as the infection sucks it right out of him to keep itself alive. In response to this, his body instead grew extensively jagged gems in an attempt to balance out the amount of energy sucked out of him, giving him a rather sinister look. Its need for energy grows far beyond his capability still, and now steals energy reserves from his fellow luminettes via bites to the neck. Blood gives him his sustenance, and it carries the energy he needs to keep the infection at bay.
