They are a mimic who will eat anyone and anything! Their favorite things to eat are stories and information, books full of history are the most delicious. They retain the information they eat. Their bookmarks double as arms and as tongues. The rest of the body isn't necessary, it's made out of junk covered in material used to give it better mobility. Technically it could ditch the body and move using their bookmarks, but that would be annoying.
