I love the snow. There's no question about it. I love when it's so frosty that you can see your breath and taste the sharp sting of cold every time you take a breath. There's something magical about a landscape transformed, whether it's a snowy park, a city scape in the midst of a blizzard, there's something ethereal about the quieting effect that a blanket of snow has on the world. The all-consuming peace and quiet of the woodlands taking a break and letting the season pass them by.
It's serene, it's peaceful. It's why winter is one of my favorite seasons.
