Tye evolution stages
1999 - Tye was first created in a short story called "The King and the Vagabond : From the Chronicles of Arostarr," that I had written in high school. At the time, Tye was called Chief Tiger, and had a more strict personality.
2000 - "The Chronicles of Arostarr" starts to evolve into bigger story that begins to get broken down into a series of short stories with a working title, then called "Morphimals." Tye is now a more tenderhearted creature, and he is resourceful in combats (meaning that he'll use virtually anything that he can get his paws on for a weapon).
2002 - "G. E. Predators" takes shape, and Tye become more the more courageous figure. For the first time, I've given him more human-like legs and removed his tail. He still retains all his jungle cat abilities. Also, he maintains a kind and gentle personality, earning him the description of being, "super strong and super sweet."
2005 - With the second season currently in writing, all the Predators will be given more uniform superhero gear. And Tye will be no exception.

Thanks you. I will keep up the good work.
BTW, the reason for his tail being removed is that any of my characters that evolve through short cuts like genetic engineering would loose that part. Any that have evolved through a more natural coarse would retain the tail. Blackguard and Gargan, the two wolves, are perfect examples of the the latter.

Sorry to butt in but since you are somewhat a Gargoyles fan I thought I might mention that the mutates had tails during the episode "Metamorphosis" but when they are seen again in the "Cage" their tails are gone. This was explained that the tails shrunk back into their bodies as their mutations stabilized.
I confess that I am a Gargoyles fan, and I know about the mutates' original designs in "Metamorphosis." The mutates were all originally human before they were turned into winged furries. The Predators, however, have always been furries. They get spliced with human DNA and gain human abilities.
