Demisexuality is on the asexual spectrum. Demisexuals experience sexual attraction only to people with whom they have an emotional bond. I had no idea demisexuality was even a thing until I was twenty three, and suddenly so many things I found frustrating, annoying, or stupid finally made sense. So here’s to Asexual Awareness Week, and here’s hoping other people who are worried they’re broken or missing out on some giant joke can learn more about themselves and feel more comfortable in who they are <3
