They are spares for a 39 linoln zepher cuz you cand finem any where or internals like they like to have cracks in the block between cyl on the right side if you find one that has been sitting not runing. We went through six before we could find a good rebuildable one. I was thinking it would be neat to put one in a t-buket for tht rat rod crowd ant have the aluminum intake with the three two berrel setup that would be different.
Physically this is a large engine for its time but by today's standards no. The displacement it is small in comparison of its size also; if i remember correctly this v12 is 294 cid the cylinders are only 3.18"in diameter. they also made a much larger 337cid 48and 49for the big three ton trucks that had a 3.5" bore and a massive stroke of 4.37". I have never seen the 337 in person but am told it was noticeably larger than the ones above.
thanks for the stimulation, honestly i had to look up some specs in my ford shop manual. if you want any other info or a pic with a reference let me know I love informing people if I do not know the answer i will tell you and look it up myself.
