The sketch seems to have the ability to trigger emotions or feeling in viewers, which is a special thing in artwork.
While the original intent of this coffee sketch was simply 'tired' (the theme for day 25 of Inktober), I can see Motomo's interpretation too. I could even see an interpretation containing both emotions, "No, I haven't been up all night crying, I'm just tired."
I'll leave what is happening in this scene up to each viewer's imagination and interpretation, it is more interesting that way.
