Silas Rose, the Fabricant raccoon
Lovejoy Stephens, the Fabricant fox
Dr. Marcus Rose, the authoritative human who happens to be Silas's creator

Fabricant is the name applied to the thousands of other beings such as Silas and Lovejoy. They are the product of animal experimentation on the frontier of artificial intelligence.
