Meet Balom the Lucaribomb! Luca's Head of Security, and of Safety & Regulations, she is a noted hothead, befitting her nature, and her 4' stature doesn't help matters. Very brash, shouty, short-tempered, but damn if she doesn't get the job done! Her metal hide makes her rather durable, and her explosive nature makes it a VERY risky proposition to actually try and challenge her. And by GOD does she love getting to demonstrate that~. The heat, the pressure, the smoke...leaves her quite the overblown ball of a bomb, and it just feels -wonderful-~

Indeed, if you light her fuse, she does NOT end up tattered chunks. There is a massive explosion, yes, with all the presentation of one: Huge flash, blast wave, the heat, the loud explosion noise, thick clouds of smoke, -occasionally- shrapnel if it's needed...but rather, Balom and her cadets would end up extremely overpuffed, sweltering metal ball, having absorbed a relatively small portion of that heat, pressure, and smoke. Absolutely helpless until they cool off, ventilate, and return to normal, and they can't really go off 'till the fuse regrows...but by GOD do they love every aspect of the experience~.
