Octopi can fit into and move through suprisingly small spaces. Some lab had one in a room with some jars of crabs on a shelf across the room. The octopus figured out how to get out of its tank, crawl across the room, take and eat one of the crab out of the jars and then return to it's tank before anyone arrived in the morning.
