I keep overthinking these prompts, but that's cuz they're so good, dangit! Thinking back on my childhood fears, I noticed a reoccurring theme of me not wanting to turn my back to things. I hated swinging on the swings with my back to the woods (even though I always ran threw them no problem), I would always run down the hall, certain there was something behind me, etc. It was usually pretty circumstantial, but I always had this fear of something behind me. I was gonna just make a grey anyperson for that thing to be behind, but then I decided to make them into a character instead, so here's a fearful kid having to deal with my looming childhood issue. I had a bigger fear as a kid (literally, I even called it The Big), but I couldn't quite figure out how to design it, and I want to really do it justice if I ever personify it.
