I've been writing a story with a friend for a good long while now and we're at a point where we need a new character due to the nature of where we're going. We talked it over and came to a general idea of where and how the character would fit in, but we never really talked about WHAT the character would be or what they would look like. We hadn't even settled on their gender!

So, I took that as a jumping off point to try sketching out some character concepts. It was a lot of fun, so I thought I'd share the process with you guys and let you chime in on who you like!

The general theme of these concepts was "Outcast/someone who is often alone". These are the ideas I had for a female version of this character.

F2. Cow (Tried doing a larger body type)

F4. Hairless, abused cat. (Sort of tried to do more 'freak' style designs for the second half of these)
F5. Chimera (unnatural mix of bobcat, dragon, and sabertooth tiger)
F6. Panda w/ little shadow-y whatsit on her shoulder.
