Yeah i love how the Mi24 looks its a flying beast, it hasn´t a real comparable gunship on western side closest would be the AH-64 Apache, but the Mi 24 is capable to transport troops it was designed as a flying IFV.
Even Today the Mi24 is in use and there upgrade progamms for new avionik and weaponry like a new 20mm gun on the nose, new engines not to forget new camera unite or that the ball is called, that old thing is even today a capable system and have good upgrade potential.
