One of my cleaned up Inktobers, going to be selling this as a small print at an upcoming convention since so many people were interested in it. ;v;)/ I'm hoping to re-open my print shop mid-late November so keep an eye out ! <3
Fex in a bunch of her Shinto glory <3 I'm really happy with how this turned out, I have TONS of different designs in the works for her and other characters of her universe. I love her mask design in this style, and I've been working on more variations in one of my sketchbooks so yaaaay~ I've played with the idea of half of it going over her eyes & nose/muzzle but leaving her mouth uncovered.
Usually her bandages only cover her chest but I covered a lot of her in them, I suppose as a sort of protection since she doesn't want to wear armor here uvu <3
If you guys don't follow me over on Twitter, I cut my thumb open so I'm super slow with art and it's so annoying xD
Also the lines will look super rough on here, sorry !

After revisiting this piece I really didn’t like that I chose a more native headdress, I didn’t feel like it was right and I felt I was taking from a culture I had no business to take from. So I want to say sorry, and that I’ve digitally edited to better suit her actual Japanese culture, since as a kitsune she is often adorning Shinto related pieces, such as the ropes, bells and more.
But the main thing I want to say is that I’m sorry and I’ll do better from here on! I don’t expect to be forgiven for this even if nobody has mentioned anything, but I also don’t want other who aren’t native to accept an apology on others behalves. If you think there is more I can do, please do not hesitate to let me know.
