My latest commission I did for orcaloving4
Back to my beloved blue colors. <3 But also back to the idea of coming on a hiatus. As I pointed that out on Insta and Tumblr, I'm taking a break from drawings. Not that I have lack of ideas or something like that, just the process doesn't bring me happiness as it did before. Probably I'm just tired, who knows.

Art for money isn't art, it's slavery. That probably explains how you feel.
It might not help having drawn this...the draw of the solitude the ocean provides is quite strong...says he who lives on a boat now...
If you would like some inspiration and can do so, I recommend getting to San Diego by October 30th, and having made arrangments to crew for someone on the Baja Ha Ha, where some 300+ sailboats sail down to Mexico and stop a few times to have fun and parties. I fursuited when I came down, both when we left San Diego, and at Bahia Tortuga, the first stop. It's a free vacation unlike any you could imagine. Details on my page if you are interested, or you can always email me.
The ocean is inspiring, and seeing a dolphin in person as it looks up at you knowing you can see it and it can see you is beyond description. The most memorable moment was when there was no land in sight - alone, surrounded by nothing but ocean, a sphere of sky and a sphere of ocean broken only by the boat under my feet and the horizon stretched between sky and sea.

I can't say it's because of commissions. I have no desire to draw and finish my personal works either, which is not what happens to me often.
I wish I could go to San Diego, but I live on the other continent, far away from San Diego and USA as a whole. But thanks for your comment! c:
