Hey all! I'm having lots of fun working on lil designs like this as warm ups, so i'm thinking of making this a regular thing :O they'll be up once or twice a week! It doesn't interrupt my commissions schedule and helps me relax too uvu

It's so weird because I just do not GET colour theory. I understand why it works, and I can see on the surface the 'instructions' for good colour combos but I just cannot grasp it as intuitively as most artists! I also can't like, visualise how a pallette becomes a composed image ahhh
Aaa i get you ;; i swear it's just practice tbh! It was really hard for me at first, and it still is a bit of a hit or miss sometimes! I take inspo from my favourite designers and try different palettes with the same markings, changing saturation, lightness, base color etc and see what looks best!
