Osomatsu has always been at arms length when it comes to Chara, so when . . . things happened and he found out she was having his kid, he counted that as the last straw. He sees her as taking his brothers away from him, so as "equivalent exchange" he ends up taking his child from her after he is born. Of course, Osomatsu has no experience in raising a child, so in order to keep him hidden, he stays with Chibita in Japan, telling no one else where he's vanished to and threatening Chibita to keep the child a secret. Of course the child needs a name, so he names him after one of his favorite things, Pachinko, but to save him from embarrassment later in life, Chibita gives him the nickname Patch, and it starts to stick even with Osomatsu.

As Pachinko gets older, he starts to meet his other siblings, and realizes that they all get to see their mother, while he's never even heard of her. Naoki shows him a picture of Chara, and later that day Pachinko goes home to ask his dad about his mother and why he can't ever meet her.
