here's some of my interpretations of this!

"well there's multiple meanings behind this, but this is open to interpretation so this can mean pretty much whatever you want it to mean! for me, the first meaning is that the moon represents a deity of some sort. the fawn is albino, and albino animals out in the wild dont really survive as well as animals that have better camoflauge in their coats. and because it is a fawn, it's supposed to represent innocence and purity. the large antlers above its head aren't attached to it for a reason- the deer won't be able to reach adulthood out in the wild. the antlers were made to look like hands, as if they were holding up the moon in worship. and so the moon god basically says "my making of your pale coat was a mistake, i apologize for the mishap, and in return for your patience, i will give you a new body of no faults." it takes the fawn in (through the somewhat protective-looking waves) and put its soul into a new life, where it isn't born disabled.
