There's a teeny tiny, itty bitty Monica in the bottom right. Can you spot her?

Nice landscape. I love fantasy and larger-than-life scenes like this, and the braided pattern in the dark tree on the right is a nice touch to subtly enhance the otherworldly feel. Wondrous cities and massive trees, as awesome as they are, can only do so much in a long-distance establishing shot, so it's the little details that give scenes like this that strange, dreamlike quality.
You've also got me curious, is there a particular story behind this scene?

There's no particular story behind this scene, though, Monica herself does have a larger story concept. I have a tendency to get ridiculously complicated in my explanation of it so I'll try to keep it short and interesting. She's plagued by her own mental inhibitions, negative emotions, fears, regrets. That sorts of fun thing. She finds herself dealing with these in a very physical manner as she periodically finds herself in a world that reflects the personal problems she faces in her life. Any objects or damage she sustains in this world stays with her in the "Real world." It's like a psycological mystery action adventure. A big mix of things I enjoy. So the idea is that as she solves problems in the nightmare realm (I call it psychescape, which unfortunately is now the title of a recently released movie) she is simultaneously solving her mental problems and progressing in the real world.
Hehehe, Hi Monica~! ;P
Did you find my other pieces of her floating around? :> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21468379/
