I'd had an idea for an anteater anthropomorph character for a while - but she only really came into her own when I made her a kind of 'rival' for Diana Vin-Belle. I can see the two of them getting into all kinds of overblown arguments about who has the right to claim a given artefact or abandoned piece of alien technology... or something.
Anita's not as clever as Diana, but she has her ways of tripping up Diana and making off with the prize.
I really like the little details of this character - the bug motif/theme especially. Her colour palette is easily as interesting as Diana's - but the fact that her space craft is a converted garbage hauler is just the icing on the cake. Just so interesting/unexpected.
